To focus on the stories I’m best at, I do not edit: fantasy, non-fiction, monster/paranormal romance, or historical fiction.
Here’s how it works:
1. LET’S MAKE SURE WE VIBE
First, reach out and tell me about your book! If you’d like, you can request a sample edit (around 1,000 words). This gives you a feel for my style—and helps me get a sense of yours.
2. IF WE’RE BOTH FEELING IT, HIRE ME
If we’re a good match, I’ll send over a timeline and a quote, and we’ll talk through exactly what you’re looking for. Then, we’ll set up a payment plan, and you’ll pay the first installment to secure your spot.
3. I DIVE INTO YOUR MANUSCRIPT
I’ll edit your manuscript and send it back to you for review. You’ll have the chance to respond to my comments or ask for clarification on anything within 2 weeks of receiving it back. Then, I’ll go through a second round of edits to fine-tune everything.
The Process:
I do things a little differently. With my background in copywriting, I’m so used to (& very much love) working collaboratively with clients—and I want to bring that same energy into the book editing world.
I won’t just hand you a list of edits and disappear. I’m here to brainstorm with you, offer guidance, and make sure your story reaches its full potential which is why I do two separate read throughs.
